Introduction
Should you encounter any errors during the installation of any Draycir software, you can set the installers to create log files to assist with troubleshooting
Obtain the installer logs
You can get a log for the installer by running the installer from an Administrator command line:
1) Create a folder for the logs, eg C:\SDDLog
2) Run the installer in the command line with the following switches:
SpindleDocumentDistribution.exe /debuglog"C:\SDDLog\setupexe.log" /V"/L*v c:\SDDLog\SetupMSI.log"
The spaces (or lack of) matter in the above, so copy/paste it.
This will give you two log files, one for the MSI extraction by the InstallShield executable and one for the MSI installation itself.
