Introduction
When Draycir released Credit Hound v6, we removed the option in the installer UI to specify an alternate install location aside from the default of C:\Program Files (x86) as per Microsoft's Windows application certification guidelines:
However we have retained the option to install Credit Hound applications to another location by using command line parameters.
Process
In order to specify the location, run the installer from a command line with the switch /v and the parameter of "INSTALLDIR=x:\Path\to\Folder". This can be achieved in a number of ways:
Windows Run command window
Press Win+R to show the run command and enter the command in here:
Windows command prompt
Open the command prompt by typing CMD in the start menu:
In the properties of a shortcut
Create a shortcut to the installer executable and amend the Target properties of the shortcut.
