KBA-15-03-002 - "No valid license file found" when applying licence in Requisitions

Introduction

When updating the licence for Spindle Requisitions, you may encounter the message "No valid license file found" along with a warning that "The underlying connection was closed"

Resolution

This message is the result of the machine being licensed not having internet access, or being blocked from accessing https://licensing2.draycir.net by a blocklist, firewall or similar.

Method 1

Grant access to the URL https://licensing2.draycir.net for the machine and re-apply the licence.

Method 2

Create an Offline licence file, by clicking Save, which will download a file called License.lic to your downloads folder

Email this file to Draycir support. 

We will authenticate this, create a licence response file and email that back to you.

You can then use the Browse button to upload the response file and license Spindle Requisitions off-line.
