Credit Hound bases its credentials off the accounting system e.g. Sage. Credit Hound will throw up the error message 'Login failed for user username'. This error message indicates the user does not have permissions to read, write and modify Credit Hound's SQL database.

1. Open SQL Server Management Studio

2. Click on Security > Logins

3. Right-click the Credit Hound SQL user and select Properties

4. Click on User Mapping and select map the user to the COMP000X database. Assign the db_owner database role

If the user does not exist in SQL, a new user needs to be added, mapped as instructed above.
