Introduction
When running a security scan using software such as Nessus, the component EMSMTP.DLL may be flagged as insecure. We have seen that a Nessus scan can erroneously report this file as being part of Oracle Document Capture.

Solution
The DLL is used by Spindle Document Distribution's SMTP connector. If you are using any other email connector for document distribution, such as Exchange, Outlook, Lotus Notes etc. then this file can be removed or quarantined safely.
