Introduction
The Draycir Spindle Document Distribution Chrome Extension allows PDF documents to be processed by Spindle Document Distribution directly from your Google Chrome browser.
This extension improves the experience of Spindle Document Distribution users who regularly want to distribute, save and print PDFs from cloud-based ERPs viewed in Chrome Browser.
Why it’s needed
As ERPs are increasingly moving to browser-based technology Draycir have developed functionality to allow a PDF to be downloaded and processed via a monitored folder using our PDF to Spindle utility (see KBA-01-02-032 - Processing PDF documents with PDF to Spindle : Draycir Support (freshdesk.com) for additional details)
However, instead of having to save PDFs to the monitored folder and having to configure the monitored folder for each user, the Chrome Extension presents the user with a button on the PDF which, when clicked, sends the PDF file to the user’s local copy of Spindle Document Distribution saving time and effort.
