Spindle Document Distribution can archive documents into Sharepoint, both on-premise and online.In the last few years Sharepoint Online has moved to using Multi-Factor Authentication to connect, however Spindle Document Distribution does not support this.

In order to connect to a Sharepoint Online site, you will need to create an application specific password (an App Password) in your Sharepoint administration portal and use this in Spindle Document Distribution Tools.
