Introduction

Scanning documents in to the Pending Tray/Document Portal may sometimes fail if a barcode is present but SDC doesn't detect it. To improve barcode recognition, a registry key is added.

Versions Applicable

• Spindle Document Capture v1.5 and newer

Resolution

1. Open Regedit as a user who has permissions to modify the registry

2. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Draycir\Spindle Document Capture\Client

3. Right-click and add a DWORD item with the name Barcode Recognition Method

4. Give it a value of 1
