Configuration
The Email editor in Spindle Document Distribution Tools allows you to set the format of your outgoing email using HTML which allows you to specify fonts, colours, links, images and so on,
The images used are not embedded in the outgoing email. Rather, they are linked from the mail to a source.
In the above exmple, I have specified a path to a file on the C:\ drive. This will work fine on my own PC, and for anyone else that has the path C:/Users/hodgsonv/Pictures/DraycirLogo.jpg pointing to a file, but will naturaly fail when sent to another user.
Instead, I will need to reference the image on an internet facing web server where the image is hosted. Note that the file does not need to be used or displayed on a website, it simply needs to exist on the server.
