Introduction
When installing Spindle Document Distribution and Spindle Document Management as a local user (such as an admininistrator), you may encounter an issue where the path to the SpindlePro shared folder cannot be reached.
This is due to the user being local, and therefore unable to reach the path.
Resolution
If no domain users are available to resolve the issue, the workaround is to create a zipped copy of the SpindlePro folder and extract it somewhere local, such as C:\ProgramData\Draycir.
When running the installer, specify this local path instead of the network path and continue with the installation process.
After the installation has finished, the correct path can be used by opening the application Spindle Document Distribution Tools and navigating to User Settings > Options, and changing the path in the section marked 'Server / Configuration'.
Click Apply and close Spindle Document Distribution Tools. The software will now be using the correct network path for the config.
