Introduction
When using Spindle Document Distribution with the user's Documents folder hosted on another server, users may report general slow performance when distributing documents.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, the user's log file path for Spindle Document Distribution can be remapped to a local path.
From the user's login, open Spindle Document Distribution Tools and navigate to User Settings > Options, and in the section labeled 'Location of log files', change the path to a local path specific for the user.
In the below image, it is set to the default local Documents folder path:
This will create a folder named 'My Draycir Logs' in the specified path with a sub-folder named 'Spindle Document Distribution'.
After the change is made, click Apply.
