Introduction

Below are a few check that can be carried out when Credit Hound is not Syncing or working correctly with the InHowes generic connector.

Solution


1) 


Check the services are running on the server where InHowes is installed. Normally on the SQL server.


The Draycir Accounting Service, Microsoft SSIS and the InHowes Credit Hound Service must be installed and running on the same server



2)


 Check the InHowes event log in event viewer. 


This can also be checked by opening the InHowes - Credit Hound Service Console 



3) 


Check that the generic connector sync process can be run manually.


Go to the InHowes - Credit Hound Service Console 


     The InHowes event log can also be opened from this console. Click 'View Log' at the top of the screen. 


Copy the path to the configuration file as highlighted in the screenshot below




4) 


Open the Inhowes Credit Hound Configurator.


Click 'open' and use the path which was copied from the service console earlier.


Click 'run now' and try running a full sync.
