Modified on Wed, 7 Sep, 2022 at 12:14 PM

Introduction

When logging in to Sage 50, you may receive an error message stating that you cannot log in because a user is logged into computername_CreditHound.

See below example of error message in Sage "You cannot access Check Data because manager is logged in on machine"

Solution

On the computer you are using where you are seeing the error (not necessarily the computer mentioned in the error message), log into Sage 50 as the manager. If you are only able to log into Sage on that PC in offline mode, please continue in offline mode.

Depending on the version, go to either View >User List or Settings > User Management.

Select the effected user that is logged in and click Remove. (Screenshot below for an example)
