KBA 09-02-02 - Migration Scenarios

Scenario	Steps required
Sage application has moved, but S3 and Sage databases are in the same place	Update S3 Link to target new location
Move S3 application to new server (DB’s stay in same location)	Install S3 on new server Update \webconfig and \pod\webconfig files to point to old database and server Delete new database created during install
Move S3 database, application stays in same place	Restore database to new SQL server Update \webconfig and \pod\webconfig files to point to new database and server Delete old database
Move S3 from pointing to Test Sage to Live Sage	Not a supported scenario, requires new installation and manual copying of original settings.
