Introduction
Upgrading Spindle Report Scheduler is a simple process of making backups, running the installer over the top and upgrading the Sage Addon.

Resolution
Upgrading Spindle Report Scheduler Tools
1. Take a backup of all Sage companies using Spindle Report Scheduler within SQL Server Management Studio.
2. Take a backup of the C:\ProgramData\Draycir\Spindle Report Scheduler\ folder.
3. Run the SpindleReportScheduler.exe file as Administrator on the Sage 200 Server.
4. Click Next at the Welcome Screen.
5. Accept the terms in the Licence Agreement and click Next.
6. Click Next at the default installation path or click Change to install to a different location.
7. Add the user name and password for the existing SRSSU user. The user name can be in the format of domainname\username or .\username.
8. Click Install to start the upgrade.
9. Click Finish to complete the upgrade. Leaving the tick against Launch Spindle Report Scheduler will automatically open the Spindle Report Scheduler Tools window.
Upgrading Spindle Report Scheduler SDBX
1. Open the Sage 200 Admin Tool, open the Add-on menu option and right click the existing Spindle Report Scheduler addon, select upgrade and browse to the .SDBX file located within C:\Program Files (x86)\Draycir\Spindle Report Scheduler\Sage 200\
2. Complete the remainder of the wizard then select to Update All Companies.
You may receive errors if all companies are not using Spindle Report Scheduler, if this is the case select the Companies menu option within Sage 200 Admin Tool, and update the individual companies using Spindle Report Scheduler by right clicking and selecting "Update Company".
If upgrading to 3.31 or above, due to the new Admin User feature, you will need to reallocate the Spindle Report Scheduler Features to the required roles within Sage Admin > Features.
