The reason for this happening is because the DynamicCompressionModule and StaticCompressionModule in IIS makes Spindle Document Capture use an invalid path.
Fix: Remove those modules(DynamicCompressionModule & StaticCompressionModule) from our application in IIS. Please see instructions below:
1. Take a backup of IIS (Open the IIS Manager > right-click the machine labeled as Local Computer > Click All Tasks > Backup/Restore Configuration > Create Backup > Type a name for the backed up configuration files > Click Ok)
2. Open IIS
3. Click on the server module mode > The click on "Modules"
4. Right click on DynamicCompressionModule and choose "Unlock"
5. Right click on StaticCompressionModule and choose "Unlock"
6. Open desired websites -> Open Modules
7. Right click on DynamicCompressionModules and choose "remove"
8. Right click on StaticCompressionModule and choose "Remove"
9. Do IISRESET (Open the Command Prompt. Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt > Once the Command Prompt window opens, type 'iisreset' (without quotes) and then press Enter > Once the message "Internet services successfully restarted" is displayed, close out of the Command Prompt)
This will resolve the error you see in Spindle Document Capture.
